hi-tech fake baby vs teen boys, round 1
[Only a week into being in a new school, in a new country, and said new school decides it's high-time their teen students start learning about family care. Or maybe it's teen pregnancy prevention. Wolfram hadn't really been paying attention. At first, anyway. Because when you're pulled aside by your teacher and told "Look, we only have enough money for so many of these infant simulators and there's an uneven girl-boy ratio in the class, so. Bottom line, you're partnering with this boy. Hope that's okay." Well. Then your attention is officially got.
It's only been a week, he hasn't even made any friends yet. Not that he was expecting to, anyway. At this point it feels like any time he gets close to someone, they move again, so why bother? Who is this kid, anyway? Yuuri Shibuya. That's who the teacher had shoved him in the direction of, and then they were handed a female infant simulator and, whelp. Here they are. Awkwardly standing at Yuuri's desk with a robot baby between them.
On one hand, the robotic thing is actually pretty lifelike and kind of cute. Wolfram even kind of wants to hold it. But on the other hand, he's just been married off to a stranger. A guy, no less. Even if it was all fake, it was sort of irritating. Pride demanded that he make it through this, though.]
Congratulations, Yuuri Shibuya, you should be honored to have me as your husband. And I promise to take excellent care of our new daughter. [As he says this, he picks up the fake infant and cradles her in his arms.] We'll name her Greta.
